Inquisitive. Mathematical. Unorthodox.
These adjectives described Paul D deBerjeois long before he took his first photograph.
In the 30 years since taking that first photo, Paul has applied and refined those traits to produce some of the most striking and memorable perspectives of the world around us. Colorado was the perfect place for someone with Paul’s sense of light and form to begin a photography career. He refined his skill by capturing Colorado’s special four-season beauty.
The Denver Post called Paul one of their most talented Digital News Team photographers, referring to his photographs as “beautiful”, “colorful” and “dramatic”. The newspaper featured his photos in dozens of on-line galleries. Local Colorado Springs television stations agreed with the Post – they featured his sunrise and lightning photographs in their daily weather segments. His photos were used as backdrops on their TV news sets.
Paul is an accomplished event, on-location and commercial photographer. Organizations across Colorado use Paul’s photographs to enhance their websites and marketing materials. The Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Balloon Classic , Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and many other balloon events have named Paul their official photographer. As Contributing Editor, staff photographer and columnist, his photos and photography articles appear regularly in Ballooning Magazine, the official publication of the Balloon Federation of America.
